This is our first Jeep Swap and I have been looking forward to doing one! The CJ 7 has been in Weston’s family since new and was a college graduation present. How Cool! A 5.3/4L60E pullout was located for the swap along with a transfer case out of a 1989 Suburban for the right had exit of the driveshaft to match the Jeep front end. A power disc brake kit was added up front for more stopping power on the 36’s. Out back we swapped in a 8.8 rear end with a pair of Chromoly Axle, 4:11 Dears and a Positrac. The engine bay was prepped and sprayed with tinted bedlinen of Weston’s choice. To take care of shifting duty a B&M Megashifter was installed. A little fabrication for the factory transfer  made it look right at home. While cruising on 36’s this rig turns 1900 RPM! [Not a valid template]
